ICC T20 Rankings: Saim Ayub Reclaims Top All-Rounder Spot

The International Cricket Council has released the latest player rankings ahead of the T20 World Cup, bringing major changes for Pakistani players. Saim Ayub has once again become the number one T20 all-rounder, while Babar Azam dropped in the batting list, making the latest ICC T20 rankings a key talking point for cricket fans.

In the all-rounders category, Pakistan’s Saim Ayub returned to the top position, while Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza slipped to second place. Mohammad Nawaz moved up one spot to fourth, and Shadab Khan made a strong comeback by jumping 13 places to reach 26th position.

In the T20 batters rankings, India’s Abhishek Sharma holds the top spot, followed by England’s Phil Salt at second. Jos Buttler climbed one position to third place. Among Pakistani batters, Sahibzada Farhan dropped two spots to seventh, while Saim Ayub improved eight places to reach 28th.

Pakistan’s T20 captain Salman Ali Agha made a big move by climbing 12 positions to 29th. Former captain Babar Azam slipped three places to 34th, while Fakhar Zaman, who is part of the T20 World Cup squad, dropped five spots to 74th.

In the bowlers rankings, India’s Varun Chakravarthy remains number one. Pakistan’s Abrar Ahmed climbed two spots to second, pushing Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan to third. Mohammad Nawaz and Shaheen Afridi also improved their positions, highlighting Pakistan’s progress in the latest ICC T20 rankings.
